Return to Play

Dear members,

As our summer winds down we hope everyone has stayed safe and healthy during this extended curling offseason. As a board, we have been working diligently to prepare for the upcoming 2020/21 season. Our goal is to begin curling in late October as usual as long as permitted by our Public Health department. Between now and then the club is a buzz with activity. The old ice-making plant has been dismantled and the crews have begun preparing for the installation of the new system, chiller, brine pump etc. We have been told this is approximately a 2 -3 week process which leaves Jerry plenty of time to do his magic for start-up. As members, you won't get to see all this new equipment but will get to experience the benefits under your slider.

There will be plenty of other “new" to see right from the moment you step up to the front doors. Designated entrances and exits lead you to new spacing and traffic flow protocols on and off the ice and a host of other improvements with your safety and enjoyment our first priority. With the guidance of Curling Canada, NOCA, and Public Health Sudbury we will provide a safe environment for our members and visitors to continue to enjoy this wonderful sport of ours.

Stayed tuned for more details and dates about registrations, start-up, and ongoing procedures about 2020/21 leagues and schedules.
