Youth learn to Curl is back for the 2025/26 season, get ready for a season of curling technique, teamwork and fun! This is a great program for all young curlers, whether just starting or looking to take the next step into competitive curling. Youth ages 6 to 17 (high school) are invited to learn skills and play games as laid out by our instructors. All sessions will include a component of off-ice warm-up followed by on-ice instruction and games. The season kicks off on October 26th, with a free all-ages 2hr introduction to the program, open to any youth curlers interested in testing out the program. Following the first session, the youth program will run weekly on Sunday Afternoons, with Ages 12 years and under lessons from 2-3pm and 13+ yrs lessons from 3-4pm.  Sliders and brooms will be supplied for those who need them. Clean running shoes and a helmet (if 12 and under) are required. A sweater or jacket, gloves or mittens, and comfortable pants are recommended. Curling is a great way to stay active and have fun during the winter months. Don’t miss out on the opportunity for your child to learn a new sport, make new friends, and have a blast on the ice. Monday, October 20th, 2025 is when Senior Mixed Recreational Curling returns to the Copper Cliff Curling Club!    All senior curlers are welcome. We are curlers of all levels - begginers to seasoned curlers, who participate as traditional rock throwers or stick curlers. Our season normally continues from October to April.    This is not league curling, so teams are made up with whomever shows up each Monday. Therefore, we play with different people each week, playing one 8 end game.    The fee is $15.00, payable as you register on the signin sheet. Draw time is 10:00am, therefore you are asked to arrive between 9:00am and 9:30am.    Beginners? We can help you along! We are a friendly bunch.
