The following leagues are available at the Copper Cliff Curling Club:
Monday Pensioners
A pick–up league of retired recreational curlers. Skips and teams are decided at the beginning of each day of play. You are invited to join us at 9:30 on Monday mornings. Fee to play is $15 each week, payable at the bar. Cash, credit and debit are accepted.
Draw Time: Mondays at 10:00AM

Adult Learn to Curl - Session I
Join us for 8 weeks of instruction and let our instructors guide you from throwing your first stone to league play! You'll be ready to jump into a league for the second half of the season.
All participants are encouraged to stay after the class to socialize, just as one traditionally does after a game. This is a great opportunity to ask questions and learn more about curling.
Draw Time: 6:00pm - 7:00pm Mondays (October 21st to December 16th 2024)

Afternoon Ladies
The Copper Cliff Curling Club Afternoon Ladies is a long-standing social league with players at a variety of skill levels. Our focus is on enjoyment of the game in a welcoming atmosphere.
Ladies have the option of curling on one or on both of the afternoons if they choose. Our curlers range in age and new members are always welcomed! Snow-bird schedules are accommodated.
Basic curling instruction will be provided for women new to game or for a brush up on skills.
Draw Time: Tuesdays and/or Thursdays 1:00-3:00pm

Tuesday Night Squad
3-4 divisions of teams that compete against each other based upon team skill level. Teams of men, women or a combination of both are welcome. Teams eventually compete to earn the right to represent Tuesday Night in the final Club Championship game.
You will find non-competitive, recreational divisions and more competitive divisions. All teams typically keep score and performance is recorded to facilitate the set-up of divisions. It is the draw master’s goal to achieve comparatively skilled and accomplished curlers within each division.
Regardless of skill level, win or lose, everyone enjoys a beverage and camaraderie in the lounge after their games!
Draw Time: Tuesdays at 7:00PM with the potential for a 9:00PM draw

Wednesday Mixed League
Casual, fun draws for all skill levels. We welcome couples, friends, family and coworkers out for an evening of non-competitive curling and socialization! While we call our league mixed, we welcome all team combinations: all women, all men or a mixture of both!
Regardless of skill level, win or lose, everyone enjoys a beverage and camaraderie in the lounge after their games!
Draw Time: Wednesdays at 7:30PM
Cost: $379.00 ($218.63 + HST + $18.95 NOCA fee)

Sunday Afternoon Youth Instruction
Youth aged 6-17 are invited to join Copper Cliff Curling Club’s Youth Curling Program. Those new to the sport will be guided to the essential skills of curling, while those that are experienced with the game will be supported to refine their skills and strategy to improve their game.
All sessions will include a component of off-ice warm up followed by on-ice instruction and games.
Time: Sundays from 1:00pm - 3:00pm (October 27th to December 15th 2024)
Rate: $83.88 +HST = $99.00

Frood-Stobie Industrial League
Frood-Stobie is an Industrial Curling League we are proud to welcome to the Copper Cliff Curling Club. The league dates back to 1986 when employees of the Frood-Stobie-Garson Complex gathered after work and began curling at the Copper Cliff Curling Club. The league welcomes members from all areas of Vale, including pensioners, suppliers, other mining companies, and any member of the community wishing to participate in this league .
Frood-Stobie is a fun league with players ranging in ability from the novice to the well experienced.
Draw Time: Wednesdays 5:00PM
